Komunikační karta Karta je určena pro řady Smart UPS RTD, SMT, SMX a SRT Umožňuje těmto novým UPS komunikaci historickým protokolem UPSLink přes sériový port (Linux apcupsd) nebo komunikaci přes USB port historickým proprietárním protokolem. Použít je možné buď sériový nebo USB port - nelze použít oba současně. Při použití této karty nelze používat komunikační rozhraní na samotné UPS. Only one can be functional at a time. Note: The communication interfaces on the UPS are disabled when the card is installed.
